It took me four tries to get the right answer. I was able to teach my parents how to do it.

ReplyDeleteIt took my 3 guesses to get the answer.I taught my Mom how to guess and test. She thought it was a good way of doing math.

ReplyDeleteGreat job everyone using the guess and test strategy! Many students accepted the extra credit challenge and were excited to talk about it in class on Friday. A parent wondered how long it should take to solve this kind of problem. It depends of course, but we tackled a challenging new problem on Friday and almost everyone had a solution in under 3 minutes!
ReplyDeleteIt was kind of tricky. It took me 5 or 6 tries. I was able to teach my mom how to do it. My mom said it was a fun and hard way to do math.
