Our Resident Sports Writer

    My mom's uncle is the athletic director at St. Joseph's university. My mom's other uncle is an assistant coach for the 76ers. Dan

    There are a lot of "behind the scenes" sports-related jobs. Every team needs finance and accounting staff. They are the people that work with the money and pay all of the bills, including the players.

    I know someone that has a sports related job, my MOM!!! She's the director of finance for the Philadelphia Flyers.

    Don't forget the people in charge of the equipment and making sure that the players get to the road games and everything. It takes a lot of people to make sure a sports team gets on the field. Everyone had such great ideas!

    P.S.-I agree with Jolie...I think Dan is a talented writer too but I am a bit biased.

    Some people volunteer in sports related jobs. Many of your parents volunteer here at St. Ephrem so that you can have a CYO program. Parents coach a team, referee and set game schedules. I am in charge of ordering and taking care of all the sports equipment for St. Ephrem's sports teams. I really enjoy volunteering at St. Ephrem and think that all of you look great in your team uniforms!
